Fabricating is hard to say because I grew up in it and worked summers and scattered weekends all through middle and high school so probably 16 or 17 years with half of those being mostly part time. I have been running a business for 7. Man I can't believe it has been that long.

I still remember the customers and colors of the first kitchen I fabricated myself with no one double checking anything and the first kitchen that I did myself from sale to price to install. I was so proud both times, it felt better than anything I have done since. Now I feel like I am in stone purgatory

My Dad started fabbing slabs in 87. I swept shop mostly at that age. Learned to polish granite at 14. Just turned 33.

I'm 3rd gen tile and stone.
I started working full time in summer when I was 14.
So counting that I guess 20 years....and I still learn something new each year.
Richard my biz partner have been the owners of our current shop for 12 years.
That was right after I quit to be a firefighter.
It didn't work out....I'm a firefighter, but I never have been able to quit.... :D
