Re: OTLVISE Granite Line
The old forum (pool table guys) have no need to move 400-1000 lbs slabs. Why would they buy even one?
I can have the best pork in the world and probably still go broke trying to market it to kosher families.
KNOW YOUR MARKET!!!! It seems that you may not understand this simple concept through the content of your posts.
You appear to be beyond any rational help that could ever be offered here, imo.

Re: OTLVISE Granite Line

Good times. Good times
Seriously though, this cart has to go. You need to come up with a better marketing plan than going after people that give you raw uncut feedback. Humorous or not. I wish you the best and understand what it's like to have a vision that others aren't seeing. I'm still asking myself why other people can't see the penguin that myself and Billy Madison see.

Until then though I will continue to make OTLVISE the SAFEST and STRONGEST Clamp possible. Last video showed NEW BIG O lifting over 400lbs and NOW I have a stronger clamp as shown in pic unpainted...
Joe, it only takes one of my clamps to lift over a 1000 lbs, straight up. You cant do that with two of your style clamps.

Re: OTLVISE Granite Line
I don't have anything positive to add to this thread, I just don't want to see it die. It has been inspirational in the development of our project.
I am taking a WWII submarine (which worked great underwater btw) and converting it to a mobile fab shop.
The Balao class subs were some of the best subs made so logically they would also make the best mobile fab shops.
Think of the advantage of keeping overhead low by not buying or renting a shop located miles from the job.
We have an accessory pack coming soon that will allow you to attach wings to the sub/fab shop, allowing the shop to be relocated thousands of miles away in a few hours. The US Air Force already has things that look similar to this and they have worked great for years!
Now before all you narrow minded, pack following, unimaginative losers try to throw out your pitiful negative comments; keep in mind that I am "The Expert" in converting WWII submarines into mobile fab shops and as such, I have come up with FAQ's & answers.
1. Wouldn't this be too expensive? No
2. Wouldn't it be hard to fab full slabs in the confines of a submarine? Shut up.
3. Aren't they too big to move to job sites? I'm not going to dignify that with an answer.
4. This is a stupid idea! That's not in the form of a question.
5. Wouldn't submarines would make terrible fab shops? The U.S. Navy won the war with them, are you smarter than the Navy?
6. Will you be getting feedback from the end users and taking that into consideration in future designs? Why would I? I'm the expert, besides stone fabricators have a long history of taking ideas that are awesome (like this one, or for instance the Otlvise cart) and being too stupid to see how genius they are.
Estimated costs are $750 per shop (that's less than the price of 751 McDonalds coffees!). We can get the subs for practically nothing from Navy Surplus, throw some wheelbarrow wheels and a trailer hitch on and BAM!
For those smart enough to see the future, I am opening up a program where you can send me $100 (or more), to help fund the production. you will also receive a free t-shirt for every $500 you donate.
(note to moderator; please remove if there is a potential to hurt anyone's feelings, particularly the so-called expert fabricators that can't see the future of their trade)

Sorry Rey, I forgot to mention "patent pending" on everything I make.
I will still have to sue you though.
Also, your vehicle is so obviously unsafe. I would hate to be rear-ended by that.

You guys are right.... What do I know?????....
My Company will purchase your products.
I will test them side by side on video... with large granite slabs and pool table slabs as you suggest
Going up and down stairs with 800 lbs will be fun
Lots of tests to see how much better your tools are then mine...

Re: OTLVISE Granite Line
best part of it is with the tools we have now 2 guys can take that slab up stairs safely and can stop i the middle of the flight for a coffee break. I am currently developing a drone for this task. I will be renting it as I will be the only certified pilot for the entire USA.

Re: OTLVISE Granite Line
It is a bit cumbersome to have 6 guys move a slab up stairs.
So, for the most part no, six guys can't effectively move a slab up stairs.
The whole point of these previous comments is to help you realize that most here are laughing at your inventions and ridiculing your inability to take meaningful advice.
