This video is a small look into the mentality of a huge part of this country.


As far as meds go. I think that the larger point is being lost here. The solution to the problem begins with THE PARENTS OF OUR YOUTH! because the youth ore obviously the future of this country. Like in the video above the kids have no choice in the matter. Mommy and daddy made a baby or baby's and than leave them in a system that does not work.

or mommy and daddy have a a child or children and one or both of the do unspeakable things to those kid...

The list go's on and on and on just read my last few posts. The problem is NOT GUNS, NOT VIDEO GAMES, NOT TV, NOT SHRINKS HANDING OUT PILLS, NOT EVERY THING ELSE THAT PEOPLE POINT TO. The problem is us... Its you and me and every one else that says that's not the answer and offers no better solution so nothing ever changes.

I ask again WHO is going to HELP the youth of this country ? If not a shrink in school than WHO?
How many people in this room have ever been to a school board meting?? you pay taxes they are open to the public . You don't have to have a kid in your public school in your area to attend these meetings and try to start to make a differences.. To offer a helping hand.

Here is the thing you are hard working and care enough about your kid to be able to afford them a private school.. Thats all well and fine BUT!! what about the kids that DON'T have parents that care weather they are alive or dead!! WHO has there back. WHO stops the cycle for them??

The problem is us and our failure to act! I do every thing i can within my means and sometimes beyond. if your not a part of the solution your a part of the problem!!

The CT legislation is in session now working on gun control.

The first thing they are doing is requiring anyone who wants to buy ammo to have either a pistol permit, hunting license, police badge, or millitary ID. I have no problem with this.

Another thing they want to do is post online the name and home address of every person who holds a pistol permit in the state. This is very dangerous and stupid. Nothing like posting online where a bad guy can go to steal a gun. Its not like pistol permit holders are pedofiles or are a public threat. My guns are all properly locked up like they should be but I don't want anyone targeting my home.

Then they want to ban all large capacity mags and clips.

What about someone who likes to target shoot? Or even a small group of fabricators (hypothetical of course) want to have a clay shooting competition? There are many reasons to own a gun besides protection and hunting.

The people buying guns illegally are the ones causing problems. Writing new laws to make gun ownership harder for law-abiding citizens seems like a waste of time and money. By requiring a permit to buy ammo, they are creating a whole new black market for ammunition. It won't help.

Most people that I personally know and own their own gun that target shoot have a permit.

The thing that worries me about the posting permit holders online is that some of the bad guys will want to break into my home when I am not there hoping to find and steal my gun. They will be lucky to even find my gunsafe to begin with but what kind of damage and theft will they do to my property looking for it?

there are some things that need to be tightened up on like not having to fill out the paper work at a gun show. if your good to go than this should not be a problem for any one

In Illinois, paperwork must be filled out with transfers through FFL dealers.
