We're just putting-forth our deeply-held beliefs, contrasting and comparing ours with others'. In America, WE CAN DO THIS.
Maybe we step outta line now and again, but we have brothers and sisters in THIS organization who CALL you on it, maybe give ya reaqson to re-think, either to broaden, OR retrench, in our knowlege, beliefs, and views. I cannot help but believe 99% of us benefit from these exchanges, when we actually have time to participate in them.

I know *I* have learned a lot, from peeps who have had more time to do actual research and homework to support their beliefs, politically and historically, and I would appreciate the opportunity to CONTINUE to learn, weigh, and toss into my own personal hopper, ALL that y'all have to toss in.
NOBODY has threatened to travel in order to punch anyone in the face, so I say let the debate go on! And let us ALL toss it ALL into our personal hoppers and weigh-scales.
Let us ALL propose with respect, apologize when called on a good reason for such, and proceed with mutual brotherhood.
It's ONLY the intensity of our personal beliefs and personal experiences that prompts us to post what we do, and I respect that, and try to learn from it, and broaden my OWN knowledge base, as well as change, or solidify, my own beliefs.
If Obama can shake hands with that South Korean rap-idiot who spewed such unbelieveable hatred towards Americans such a few short years ago (Killing all Americans, their families, their in-laws, slooowly, and painfully...) then I can listen to, and TRY to learn from, and toss into MY personal hopper, even what died-in-the-wool liberals have to say. Where does your responsibility end on this? If you eat at a restaurant with an illegal busboy, are you complicit? If you let someone cut your lawn that's illegal, aren't you responsible? Those guys that sell tools and equipment, have you verified their papers? Do you quit eating fruits and vegetables that are harvested by illegals? Aren't you complicit in the whole thing?

That's the "wink and a nod" I'm referring to. Where's your outrage? Who cooked that Chinese food at the restaurant, or what about that cute waitress at the Mexican place? Lot's of foreigners in the Stone Business too. Not your responsibility?

Or do we just cover our eyes and ears and blame it on the business owners? That doesn't sound like the conservative group I'm used to.

It is my feeling that the person paying the money to the illegal is the one responsible.

If I hire an illegal to mow my lawn, then I am responsible.
If I eat at a diner with illegals working the owner is responsible.

The real problem is, that people are less responsible for their own actions than ever before. Children are less responsible on the whole, adults are way less responsible. We are teaching irresponsibility to our youth through action, word and deed. Why be responsible when you can make up some sort of b/s and the government will take away from someone who is responsible and redistribute so it is equal for everyone. Too bad they couldn't redistribute virtues like work ethic, honesty and pride.

People are only guaranteed equal opportunity, not equal success. Helping others is admirable, like food, shelter and clothing. But cell phones? Should people with limited means spending money on TV, stereo, cars be entitled to extra help with the basic needs, if they shirk their own responsibility to themselves and society? I say no. There is not one legit argument for Obama phones, let alone multiple ones for one person, this is stealing!!!
