My buddy Randy Howell is the 2014 bassmaster Classic Champion !!!
Super stoked for him and his family .
Gave all the credit to his lord and savior !

Congrats to him. That is a tough accomplishment I'm sure he worked hard at it.

He did an awesome job. Glad a local guy won it. Just an fyi to guys not from around here, he caught 67.8 lbs of Bass in 3 days!

Randy is local now, originally from North Carolina , but has been a regular BASS tournament fisherman and made the last 11 classic tournaments ! , just has not gotten the right bites.
Several years ago, when business was rocking , we would take a boys trip every year to Chesapeake Bay and go stripe fishing with Randy and FLW pro David Dudley. They are both super guys.
I went and met Ken Lago on one of those trips and had dinner with him..

If you want to see some awesome footage, he had his go-pro on the entire time. Its on the Bassmaster home page.
Not only did he keep 29 pounds ( 5 fish ), he culled over 90 lbs of keepers all day. Got bored catching 4 pounders
