It had some sort of janky after market beaver tail on it and the factory trigger.. The beaver tail was extremely loose it rattled around in there like a baby's rattle.

So I ordered a Smith and Alexander beavertail and the .220 radius jig so I could shape the frame to properly fit the new beavertail.. I also ordered a new trigger an STI with interchangeable trigger profiles. I wish I know what had been done to the sears who ever put the beaver tail on took a stone to the sears and did not do a good job.. so now I'm going to order an all new set of internal parts for it. I should have just done it to begin with.
I did not take a lot of pics of the actuall process of cutting the radius or polishing the trigger slots and fitting the trigger all the parts are slightly oversized and needed to be properly filed and polished for the proper fit it took 6 hours to fit blend and polish. the finished polish is not done just yet as there is still plenty of work to be done. Next is a new bull barrel and small parts
unfortunately I did not take pic's of it with the old parts on it all of these pics are after the radius had been ground and filed
this is the crappy beaver tail that came off of it
