You may be collecting too many points and creating too small line segments. For straight cabinet fronts, only two points are needed to define that as a line. If you are scribing walls, then every 6"-12" is typically good enough to follow the wall shape.
When adding fillets, choose the two elements closest to the corner you're filleting.

After drawing your tops you can use the view/display contiguous breaks command to see any lines that are not closed shapes and fix or delete them prior to sending to allendatagraph.

Re: cleaning up files from lt55
Thanks for the tips but what concerned me most was that the line did not show in Lt 55 software fully expanded but did show up in allencad when we checked in there .We did not catch it in lt55 software and sent to cnc saw where it cut the line and ruined the piece .Did not think that should be possible to have line that does not show in Lt55 screen when fully expanded.

What software does your cnc saw use?
Do you not have the ability to do a simulation prior to sawing?
I personally would not trust the LT software for editing much more than vinyl templates.

Re: cleaning up files from lt55
When editing lt55 files, I would recommend to turn on measured points which will display 'x' for every point shot. Many times our templators will filet a corner but will filet the wrong segment. This error will be obvious with the display contiguous breaks as mentioned previously. If it is a software bug, I would recommend you talk to your lt55 rep. They are pretty good with fixing bugs within a few days.

Re: cleaning up files from lt55
We are using cuts from cad it came with our saw . I think it was something we did and not glich in LT software . I thought file was checked for open geometry with view/display contiguous breaks command but it might of been missed . We were use to just cutting Vynal and when there was a extra line no big deal but watching that blade come down in middle of island
has cured me of being sloppy with files.

I'm sure. It was a quick learning curve for us too!JOHN_T wrote:We are using cuts from cad it came with our saw . I think it was something we did and not glich in LT software . Vinyl is cheap.
