We are in the market for a water jet that can cut fast and accarute with 5 axis. We had reps in from Intec. We have a northwood saw-jet right now but am wondering if people have any experience with the intec vs. omax or flow? Please let me know if you know any pro's and con's of any of them.
thanks,

waterjet comparison
Re: waterjet comparison
We have a FLO and KMT water jet here. The KMT pumps are much easier to work on which you will be doing if you buy a waterjet. Also they are now owned by the same umbrella corp.

Re: waterjet comparison
We have a Northwood saw jet too as well as a flow water jet. The flow has their hyplex pump and the saw jet has an intensifier pump so I can't really compare apples to apples but the KMT intensifier is a breeze to work on and when I call for tech support I have never had to wait for a call back. Which means a lot to me. That is the only thing I can complain about flows customer service, you always get added to their call log and have to wait sometimes hours for a return phone call. However in the 10 years we've had the machine and I've had to deal with them as a company, they have always been great at helping me getting the machine running again. They've gone above and beyond for me too in the past which I can't forget.
I know they're not 5 axis but I hope that's some useful info.
