Hope you are well. At least In Miami I got to see some of you. I won't tell anyone about the Hawaiian shirts though. I was amazed how well I got the custom rolled cigars through about five flights this week without any cavity searches...haha.
Key Features of our Combi.
1. Five axis waterjet. (this means the jet also tilts and can be interpolated as five axis) The possibilities will be what you can dream up. Think special edges curved angular cuts etc. Perhaps some mitering on difficult materials.
2. FORK type Head: Where the pivot point of the tilting motor is on a dually supported structure.
3. Enclosure It is our philosophy that this is correct for equipment with rotating heads, as this type of machine can logically when making longitudinal cuts front to back you can have the blade rotating toward the operator, and therefore debris and blade teeth projectile risks.
4. Work Top Exchanger While we will happily make a dual tank machine if one desires, we have had since the beginning an automatic worktop exchanger which allows the loading and unloading outside the environment and therefore not the necessity for the longer travel, keep the accuracy of a single work envelope.
5. Multi Touch is our new user interface which works such as a "smart phone" with access to all information about the job, slab photo and our continued development and future integration with an assortment of software from Breton and other popular softwares from third parties.
6. Software and the possibilities for 3D simple profiles with blade or jet.
7. More...(just ask us)
So below is a video from one of our clients near Lyon, France, whom has a kind of special combicut with a tilting worktop exchanger, which I thought might be food for thought for some of you.
An interesting fact that 2 SFA'ers were of the first delivered in the US.
