Re: NW Robo Jet
Cal issue? Not getting right measurements from done piece?
And for speed blade and waterjet to.slow? Not much other then that that can affect how fast you will cut a slab. With the right blade you should push 150 ipm
Have you talk to Northwood about it. If so what did they told you?
As far has tolerance from my visit in blassius I was worried about tolerance so I've check a bunch of piece
with the operator. Every piece was within .1mm of what I could measure with caliper and inside 1/32 For what i could measure by tape at that time.

Re: NW Robo Jet
feel free to share I want to know what I will run into a couple of month.
already a relay from the laser curtain/ camera connect or don't. Windows seems really unstable alphacam crash at least once a day.
Overall everything related to the top cabinet doesn't seem like a good fit or reliable at all.
Other then that third parties are awesome Fanuc robot is off the chart, kmt intensifier flawless,ECT.
with that said when the machine is going properly it's killer, we've hit 700 sqft a day all bowl cut. I'm starting to do a bit of mitering I hate that area limitation but it's actually accurate once you get the hang of it.
The real bad about that machine is computer wise/ software. their alphacam output is not ready for robot, errors in sink every two table, limit error whenever it's a small waterjet portion, waterjet where it wouldn't need, etc.
