Hi everyone.
New here and fairly new to cnc in general.
I have a intermac master 30. Intermac came to give us training, set up tools etc..
We always noticed a little bump/ belly/ divit (what ever you wanna call it) where I tell the tools to start.
The minimum distance of attack was 15, after speaking with intermac engineers, they told me to increase this to 25.
Just done this and if anything, the bump has got worse.
Does anyone have any tips to getting rid of this problem? Not slating intermac, but feel I'm just running around in circles with them.
Thanks in advance.
Ben

Re: Belly/ divit in bowl cut outs
I get the same bump from my CNC router on sinks. More or less on all of em. Generally they are too small to care about. I put my finger bit enter/exit point inside the front rail of the countertop to lessen the chance of it being visible. I otherwise dont have a solution.

Same as Colin here. We enter and exit on the sides of sinks and the dip is minimal. Haven't had any complaint about them yet. You can barely feel it by hand.

Ben: You're gonna need to be spot on with your tooling measurements and speeds. A couple things that will help is to change your starting position for each tool or change your overlap setting on the tools in ICam. They are typically more noticeable when the tools wear if they are wearing uneven or not actually cutting the material away correctly.
