Draft sight help

I have downloaded Draft Sight onto a new computer we have gotten for the office and it is not allowing me to edit templates. It is the new version Draft Sight 17

I have no problem opening the program and inserting a template but once i try to edit the template it will not allow me to select anything and edit the template.

I first thought it may be the template, but i then went back to my old computer which i was using before it worked fine.
The version of draftsite on this computer is only about 6 months older.

Do not know if there is a setting i am missing or what.

Thanks

Are you in correct space? May need to click on Model Space tab on bottom.

Move all your layers to 0. then sav it with a different name, that way you still have the original.

I can teamviewer into your computer that is having the problem and see if I can fix it for you. Just call me in the morning. It certainly could be a bug and we can load an older version of draftsight to see if that truly is the problem.

I was able to get Remington up and running. After trying and older version of draftsight with no luck and also checking the actual template on my computer to be ok, It wound up being the Graphics card driver was too old to work with the Open GL they were using with Draftsight. I updated his graphics card driver for him, and the software worked fine. Previous driver dated 2009. New driver for that old of a platform, was 2013 and worked fine.

Tim...you probably are the closest to the truth. Anyone that has seen "the desk", would not be surprised to hear Steve Jobs first computer may be buried somewhere under the pile on the left side.

Eric...nice job of helping Remi out. ::D/
