that is a great system on teh website. I brought this up about 3 months ago. Ill have to look into slabsmith again.

I think this is a spectacular idea. Is there a way for the system to distinguish slabs that are sold?

SlabCloud Inventory Synchronization replicates your Slabsmith Slabs database. If you change the status of the slab in Slabsmith, it will be automatically changed on the Inventory page of your website. If it is sold, the slab will no longer show up on your website. When you used a portion of the slab, Slabsmith will automatically create a remnant with an image and correct dimensions of the slab. This remnant will also be populated on the website automatically.
The bottom line is: Once everything is setup, you just need to maintain your inventory with Slabsmith software. The rest is fully automated. Your inventory pages are always up to date, as long as your Slabsmith Inventory is current.

We are about to launch a brand new version of inventory plugin.
Here are some of the new features:
3D Edges.
Advanced Search filter. you can select minimum width or height of the slab, also search by name or Inventory ID.
Favorites. Slabs can be added to the Favorites list.
PDF Generation. Ability to download informational PDF of each slab as well as the list of favorites.
Inventory Specials. Ability to add special tags ("Sale", "New", "Popular" or anything you like). Specials can be assigned to the Slab names or to the lot

Does it have to be Slabsmith database or can you integrate with info stored in a different database structure?

Currently, it works only with Slabsmith.
What I love about Slabsmith Inventory is that once you take a picture of the slab, you have all the necessary slab dimensions automatically. When you use a portion of the slab, Slabsmith creates the remnant image, again with all the dimensions.

We think this is awesome. Andrey has us all set up. We are still taking pics. But its a great sales tool. Check out our slabscloud page here:

Alex, just curious, when you update inventory in Stone Grid.. it updates in Slab Smith and therefore in SlabCloud as well?

Slabsmith controls stoneapp. Not vice versa. I believe.

So you consume the slab in SS and it updates Slab Cloud and Stone Grid? Or are you consuming the slab in SG first?
Slab Cloud is defiantly a cool feature... looking to get Slab Smith purchased this next year

Yes. Slabsmith has multiple "statuses" of slabs. Both slab cloud and stone app work off these statuses. So when a job is marked "complete" in slab smith. It changes the slabs status to consumed. This change in the SS database pulls the picture off the slabcloud site, and changes the status of the slab in stoneapp to consumed as well.

KITCHEN VISUALIZER


Kitchen Visualizer is now available for Slabsmith Inventory.
While there are many visualizers available, Slabcloud visualizer is the first one to offer a real-time stone preview. When you add a new slab color to your Slabsmith inventory, it will also populate in the visualizer.
