core holes pushing thru

seems that lately the core holes are pushing thru and leaving the top rough. I have dressed the core bit. It is set to leave 1 mm and that worked up until now and we would tap them down thru with a hammer.
\Any suggestions? Currently I am running a cyclone thin wall to the specs on the box it came in.

I leave 2.5mm...no problems yet. Still pretty easy to tap out.

best solution is always to keep a sink rail vacuum pods under.
there's pods that have sacrificial layer to do that I believe blick and adi have those.
otherwise it really depends on the bit and how sharp it is. our thin wall are run at 3000rpm if I'm right and 150mm/min.
never had a problem with them coming dull except if we are drilling Dekton.
The things is without pod you're at the mercy of the material because quartz won't blow at 1mm doesn't mean antico won't blow at 2.5mm.
pods prevent that

We have always kept it .1"/2.5mm away and never had one blow out without a support underneath. If you want to go that close then you will have to use a sacrificial pod underneath. I have seen the water pressure blow a hole out once it gets less than 1mm away.

Make sure your core drill isn't mushroomed out too.
I think we are leaving 3mm and we always try to have a sacrificial pod underneath JUST IN CASE

I turned the rpm up to 1500 and left 2 mm no pods underneath and it is working like a champ

we messed a couple of tops having it drill too close and blowing out the face on some soft granite , had to back it off ..no problems since..
