I hear ya!!!!

Very nice offer of help.

When our pendant monitor did this:

We did this. Accepted it as permanet after finding out the replacement cost for the original little screen.
This is how we interface with my Old girl. So I can empathize a little.

Jerry shot me a ball park number from the hip and it was enough to make me run all the wires so that the pendant could still swing freely

Can't remember what is was, but it was more than I was thinking.

John, with all due respect, if it weren't for the social aspect you would never get to the technical content. If you can't stomach wading thru some pooh (for free) I would just bring in a tech to give advice. Just me.

Keystone is not listed as an SFA member, perhaps they should become allied before they try and dictate how the forum is run. If they are allied, then welcome and allow me to offer my sincerest apologies and a box of tissue.

I have been watching this and not saying much but I know all the parties involved. Everybody has a bad day sometimes and all of us are sometimes less than elegent with our choice of words and content on those days. For me the ultimate challenge in our lives is really communication.

How about we all let go on this one?

The last post was like a month ago, Jerry!

He is the one challenging nick to fisticuffs.

I don't think he is coming back. Does he have an omag, too? Guess I know who I can't call for help. If it is a Profiler, I am switching sides and gonna beat nick up. Profilers v Mill4x.

Luckily I have you on speed dial.

:o .............It is also likely that I have called chris a douchebag as well in either texting or on the phone. LIttle do you know that I can track down Texas Joe (A large bodied Mill 4 X guy) and with a little tequilla (the install beveridge of choice) we will be ready to represent at the throwdown.

Chris V. - I am hearing about this at every shop I go to. This was much bigger than only what happened on the site... I think more people than not just check these postings out and never post themselves.

Nick P. - Texas Joe is now Chicago Joe...

You are all Omag owners - play nice!

I had a guy slander the crap out of me, his name is like Marc Mcmanis or something, it was really weird. It was on some other stone website that literally no one goes to and it was for no reason except that I said I thought joining the MIA was not worth the money considering what you get in a post. He apparently reads these post and doesn't ever post???? What kind of lunatic does that anyway, how do you read all this crap and not want to throw your $.02 in eventually? Anyway, he said in a much more PC email something like "People read my posts and trust what I say (based soley on my post count  ) and people are getting the wrong idea about the MIA and (I can't make this up) people in Europe read my thread and think less of the MIA" To which I retorted that it is my opinoin and not the "wrong idea" standing in my shoes  and more importantly anyone who reads something from some idiot on a blog site, with no credentials whatsoever, on the most unfactual medium available(internet), with aweful grammer AND A BOB MARLEY AVITAR.......................AND then, takes what they read, from that guy, to the bank, DESERVES to lose ALL their money and then some. I thought the whole thing was very laughable, but at the same time it was very confusing as per my response.

I am at a total loss when reading that. Some guy I don't know was getting on like a jerk, I called him a douchebag, and it was bigger than that?????????

I was ready to drop 5 grand on a vacuum pump last week because a hose clamp fell off, and people are hanging on my blogged opinions??? People are so amusing.

-For the record (since there are tabs on it), Chris and I cool. I was going to have my press agent release that statement, but I wanted to post this personally so that all parties known and unknown can hear it from me and be confident that there is no beef between Chris V (AKA Coolhandchris) and I.

Fair warning for those who follow Nick's posts. He is completely competent and skilled at running his shop and his Omag. Don't be suckered in by his blog story or his vacuum pump story he may have a human moment once and a while but he knows how to get his machine and shop to put out high quality at optimum speed.

I refer to Nick, Chris V. and Chris as the "gang of three" because they all help each other so much and as much as I would like to take the opportunity to make comments like the blind leading the blind just to bust their chops I know they are all skilled. Having said that I will do my best to never get caught saying anything else nice about them. All three of these guys are an asset to the SFA and to their industry.

The OMAG comment is the only one they would agree with

I heard he was mediocre at mixing colors (from the Kow) .

So with a bad back & limited makita skills, it really only leaves the OMAG for him to excel.

Mix in his ADD, grillin', smokin', surfing the web for boat gear, and X box; I doubt he shows up regularly to the shop. :P

In all fairness, nick was helping me before I had an omag.

And blind leading the blind seems accurate. Do people actually say they know how to run these things? I thought everybody just made it up as they went along.

Right. You keep pushing all the green buttons until they stay lit. Then something will likely be happening
