Hi guys, it's been a while since I've been on here now as the immigration process is taking a little longer than expected.... But I now have my interview date at the US embassy in London for the 30th of July, so I am hoping to be in the US the first week in August So I am wondering if anyone from any of the above areas is currently hiring? Chris - good luck with the move. Can't help on the job front but I thought I would pass on a tip that I found useful - if you have not done so already go to a bookshop and get a copy of "Living and Working in America - a survival guide" by David Hampshire. It is very useful for someone moving from the UK to live in the US.

Stone fabrication is a very uncommon skilled trade and there are granite shops always looking for good fabricators because of the lack thereof. Im pretty sure you will find a shop that is hiring around the area you're moving to. Good luck!
