Re: Installer Looking For Work With A Different View
Hello Nick,
Thank you for the interest. I am currently getting ready to sign a 6 month contract with a growing company in north Texas. I will be going in as a consultant / install trainer to help this company grow in sharing some knowledge, skills in order to see others advance and succeed in the business and to hopefully create some great install teams and trouble shoot some areas that need improvement. I would welcome the opportunity to keep you in mind after my contract has expired should you still have an interest in my professional services.
Best regards,
J.R. Mendoza

Re: Installer Looking For Work With A Different View
sorry to burst your bubble J.R. but you are far from what you describe. Unless you were having a bad month when you were with me. Quarter size chipped seams and holes drilled in the wrong spots are definately legendary, as a matter of fact its still on our complaint with the better business bureau. I understand that you were trying to get tight seams but if there not level and your going to pound on them to get them there while they are but up against one another its going to chip.
Oh yea guys if you do hire him you may want to put it in the contract to NOT CALL YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYEES to see if they want a job, thats pretty FUCKING SHADY.
AT least he was correct, will leave a legendary impression.
He does have a nice truck with tools though

Re: Installer Looking For Work With A Different View
Hey Angel,
As a professional to another professional I am surprised that you would even make such an negatived remark about who am in this business. You want to call a spade a spade I know of about 10 reputable companies in your region that know who you are and have nothing good to say about you, one being you can not keep employees because you constantly scream and pay them very little to the point that they are so nervous that they can not produce right , you are shady in your business dealings, crooked attorneys in your pocket and not to mention that you and your wife have knock down arguments in front of customers that come in your shop as well as being rude to your customers onsite, that just right down very unprofessional and embarrassing and you call yourself a professional in this business. You know theres more to this business than just manufacturing stone and installing, its called having people skills with your employees and customers in learning how to make friends to where people love and not hate you. You know I did work for you about a month "what an experience" that I never in all my years in this business did I have such a hard time with my installs because of the manufactured products that you put out was not up to standards in your manufacturing not to mention the lack of information that pertained to the jobs. I have quite a few references that can and will rebut of what you say about who I am and about my services. You and I were just associates and never friends that tried to do a little business together that didn't work out and so life goes on. I don't ever recall saying anything negative about you or your business after we parted ways, so kindly in the future I would appreciate that you keep your negative remarks to yourself and if you have a problem with me I am sure you have my number that answers 24/7. Have a great day.

Installing isn't a bad gig, less overhead, less headaches. I can think of lots of reasons to install only.

Re: Installer Looking For Work With A Different View
Mr. Anderson,
First and for most to coolhandchris thank you for the kind words and yes he certainly made a valid point on just installing. As for you Mr. Anderson, I don’t know you, don’t know that I want too and by your insulting just curious comment in which I don’t see how I run my business is any of your concern, but I will satisfy your curiosity as in been there done that. It is actually hard to find dependable good help that pays attention to detail and has a passion for this business as I do. Sometimes you just get tired of putting fires out so in short I made a decision on closing shop and doing what I do best. Went back to contract installing with different companies including working in the islands and paying it forward to those willing to learn and at the same time adding knowledge and skills along the way to what I all ready have. As for this professional SFA site I am sometimes floored by the drama and negative remarks on here. I thought surly that this site was all about professionals helping professionals in pushing forward for success in this remarkable business in using their knowledge, expertise, professionalism, integrity, workmanship and one of the most important factors in this business uh yes customer service such as returning phone calls, arriving on time ,being knowledgeable in answering customers questions without being condescending and to complete the job in a timely manner and to exceed the expectations of any customer in turning their reality into a dream come true. I would have to say that the greatest gratification for me is seeing the customer having a million dollar smile as I exit their home in knowing that, that customer will pay it forward and that Mr. Anderson is what keeps this remarkable industry going and professionals as myself and others in business. So perhaps the next time that you have a curiosity itch perhaps you should focus on your own business in finding how to exceed your own success and not be so concerned why I'm just that DAMM GOOD! In closing I hope that I have satisfied your curiosity and have a pleasant day.
