WTB USED 6cm Beaver or Equivalent: Search is Over!

Looking for a machine that will do up to 6cm. Not too picky on brand just want it to work well.

So, whatcha got?!

So after doing some more reading here on the SFA, I am looking for a PITBULL. I am just familiar with the Beaver but sounds like the PITBULL is what I want. Or the Beaver Hydraulic.... :beer2:

We had nothing but trouble with the Pit Bull -- granted, it was when they first came out. We switched over to the Beaver.

I appreciate the input, Dave. I too have used the Beaver with great results.

I am always worried about scratching the tops though. We have used a piece of laminate over plastic film with great results, but the fear is always present.

We put a thin carpet on ours and never scratched a top.

You can now order the pitbull with a cheaper (chinese built) pump. I think i saved $500 on the setup with their new pump. Worth looking into. We are chiseling our first 6cm job tomorrow, but we did a practice piece yesterday and it was perfect. Almost too perfect for a chiseled edge

Amroczka, did you order yours through Omega Diamond directly? I was on their site and it was like $3410 for the system. Gran Quartz was $3500. :shock:

Still on the hunt if anyone knows someone or ?......

At this point, I'll entertain any chisel machine. I just hate to have to buy a new one since i typically talk folks out of this edge detail.
