Job Description
Are you an experienced Operations Manager within the countertop industry looking for a change? Maybe this is your sign! If you answered yes, Classic Rock Fabrication is seeking someone like YOU for our Cranberry Township location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee fabrication of jobs to meet overall production and installation schedule.
Evaluation of shop personnel on annual basis.
Maintain inventory of safety supplies, as well as fabrication/installation supplies & tools.
Communicates & provide clear direction to all personnel.
Participates in daily buffer meeting with associates to ensure timely delivery of all projects.
Oversee scheduled maintenance on tools & equipment or schedule to have done.
Enforce and promote safety standards & compliance with OSHA and company requirements.
Train all employees in proper material handling & lifting techniques.
Coordinate with other managers to provide efficient flow of jobs.
Analysis of possible improvement methods.
Responsible for daily production goals through all departments. Must maintain rates set by CEO.
Provide leadership through personal example as well as mentoring, coaching, counseling, goal setting, and providing direction to all direct reports with appropriate levels of motivation and associate satisfaction.
Performing personnel functions including hiring, transfers, terminations, performance appraisals and associate development.
Establish and maintain organizational attitude in reference to quality, customers, and communication.
Perform other duties to support the corporate goals and mission.
Participation in daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing meetings with each department as well as managers meetings.
Provides support to customer issues and problems.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will supervise all shop personnel such as sawyers, CNC operators, fabricators/polishers, quality control, and inventory/receiving. The position also supervises all field staff including templaters, installers and services technicians. This position will work closely with all other company managers and executives.

Qualifications
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Must have 4 years of direct industry experience. Other construction related experience and vocational training is a plus.
Basic computer knowledge and experience with hand tools and machinery preferred.
Ability to interact with customers and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner, and work as a team.
Work extended hours as needed.
Subject to random drug screening during employment.
