I am thinking of relocating to Kansas City in the next 3-6 months and want to get a feel for the market, openings, etc... I have already spoke to TopMasters they were the only shop I had prior knowledge of and have set up an interview in December when I will be in the area. A little about me. I have worked in the skilled trades field for 20+ years, As a manual machinist and lathe operator, cnc mills and lathes, surface griders, drill presses, etc.. I have an AAS in Industrial Technology with a machine tool emphasis. I have brought my AutoCad and CNC knowledge to the stone Industry and have worked as a Northwood sawjet operator (double table) running AlphaCam, Run CMS Brembana CNC's Concept 1400, 1700, 2.1, and 2.84. I am also programming in Easystone and drawing in Auto CAD 2007. Using Proliner to digitize hard templates and jobs in the field. I am familiar with all aspects of running a shop and was the manager of the Stone Shop at my last place of employment for approx. 2 years. I ordered all supplies and tooling for shop. Maintained inventory levels in Moraware. Am forklift certified. Somewhat familiar with Park Velocity, edger, and bridge saw. I have been on a few installs and am familiar with the process. I can facilitate a top from the beginning to the end. If anyone knows of an opening that would be available in the area within the next 3-6 months and would like to schedule an interview or would like to talk over the phone PM me and I will get back to you. I will be in the area the last 2 weeks of December. I am interested in any and all openings but my strong suits would be drawing in AutoCad, Running CMS CNC's, Programming in Easystone, or running a shop. I could perform any of those duties and hit the ground running. Thanks for looking.
