This weekend I am going to list my entirety of Golf equiptment minus a few putters on Ebay and I figured I would give you guys first crack at it even though I am not to sure I have anything anyone is interested in. I have a pretty good idea of values based on watching history of similar/same items on ebay and I am being very reasonable based on that "market value". The bottom line is that my lower back is not covered by my insurance for the indefinate future and I certainly still have my bad days so it would just be completely irresponsible to myself and my family to be stobborn and play golf until I at the very least have an insured post surgury back, let alone feel up to it. So, I am cleaning out the closet in the house my wife hates that is dominated by fishing gear and golf clubs.

All clubs are well taken care of and pictures will be available if interested.

I have:

Set of Titliest DCI 962 irons ($100)

Set of Taylormade Tour Preferred muscle back blades (throw backs circa 1992) ($75)

Set of Mizuno MP-14 Blades. The original, Tiger woods' nike blades were based off these. Best blades ever. ($100)

Callaway 60 forged lob wedge ($25)

Titliest Brad faxon 56* forged sand wedge ($40)

Tour van Cleveland 52* gap wedge with tour grind sole, tour cut groves etc. Sick club, sick spin, off tour. I love it ($45)

Cleveland CG10 lob wedge ($30)

Taylor made R7 driver and I think I have the tour weights with it. Stiff shaft better than stock but I forget, I think a Ys-6 by whoever makes that. ($60)

Taylor made r7 5 wood Tour issue with "T" in the seriel # and the "hot melt" treatment for more solid feel. Upgraded tour Adilia shaft. Very, very sick club, I think it is 18 or 17.5*.

Nike stand bag, the best one. ($55)

Kinda gross, but only used for like 6 months. I have the bomb $135 Nike air Max black leather shoes and they are in like new condition and people on ebay buy that kind of stuff. Size 10.5 ($50)

Bettinardi BB2 blade putter with tripple black finish and Rasta colored paintfill 8-) (can be changed easily) $185

Scotty Cameron Studio 1.5 from original studio series with copper customer copper finish $175

Scotty Cameron off senior tour Newport 2 with players initials stamped in face and I think circle t headcover $275

Scotty Cameron Studio 1 from original line in original finish (gunmetal blue) $150

Byron Morgan protype putter with hand welded hosel and sound slot $250

Joyn Byron beautiful milled gunmetal putter like wilson 8802/cameron napa style $125

John Byron beautiful milled gunmetal like cameron laguna. $100

John Byron satin finish slant neck (like cameron Coronado) $100

Scotty cameron Newport longneck Tei3 insert with custom satin finish and gold terylium insert. Head only no shaft and honestly the refurb job was not hot and did not wear well so this is a candidate to be redone and would be really nice $75

Thats about all I can think of off the top of my head killing time in my office. Sorry for the vague descriptions but these will be my reserve prices on ebay and if you want to know more or see a pic I will be working on that this week. Got other stuff I am not thinking of but if I can't think of it it ain't worth that much. Everything was very well taken cared of and stored inside, always. The Byron putters are IMO better than most Camerons and would be used by more tour pros and have more value if a company like Titliest was funding their sponsorships. Part of me really wants to keep all the putters but if I am not playing I will not have the desire to continue collecting them

I would, but I made every rod in my "man closet" during my first "real" business attempt in college so I convinced my wife they have more of a sentimental value to real value ratio than my golf gear.

I have some not so good days still with the back though it is alot better. It is just that if I go down uninsured, I cannot do it to myself or more importantly my family.

EBAY/CL is the real market for this stuff, I just ifgured I would put it up here first for any SFA guys to have first crack at.

Sheeeet, not surprised at all David, I know some rednecks that are single digit handicap ballers. Growing up in Florida, about everyone I know can catch a bass in a puddle and break 90

I would make you a custom rod David. I could make you a matching boat set for that Yellowfin. I did a boat set at the Miami boat show for a yacht, my biggest sale, I think it was like $3400 for a ton of stuff. I will make any SFA guys a rod for $75 plus my (wholesale to this day from where I worked in college 8-)) cost on materials. I don't/won't make a choas rod or a star rod or whatever other crap people think is a good rod that is $28 worth of parts and they sell for $120. I do it for love. If you want to get a real baddass rod that is a real blank with a real series of fugi guides and reel seat, then I would happlily make a rod for anyone. I guess I have never really made rods for money  and on that note, I am not recreating garbage for $75 that will take 4 hours of my time. If someone wants a rod it would be an excuse to do what I love and give someone a good deal on nice rod. I will post some pics of my rods in the water cooler later.

California is so far ahead of the east coast in terms of fishing gear it is like the equivilent of the united states Military verses the Iraq army during desert storm. I can't stand that looking at CC's that cost more than my house with freaking garbage Choas rods and TLD's on them. Not that I haven't caught alot of fish on TLD's, but California has been using setups that are sooooo much stronger, smarter, smaller and lighter for years and no one here gets it or will pay for it. I can't believe still, now 8 years after I learned about the West coast long range scene, that no one gets it yet other than the SKA guys and some hardcores.

The yips are not covered by our warranties, says so in the fine print

This is one thing I will not miss about golf. I got a call from Ron one weekend at like 7 about how great he putted with the club, and not a month later, it went bad  . I am a medicore putter, that said I had a fairly sizable putter collection. The trick is to grab another arrow because it is never the Indian ;)

Nick,

Please disregard our previous communication.

It appears that the two weeks of "time-out" has achieved the desired result.

Ms. Bettinardi performed admirably yesterday.
