Got mine too. First impression not so good. Found it difficult to remove the paper off of the back. Could see this roll getting thrown across the shop real easily.
But it does come off the stone easy enough. And did not leave a residue.
Perforated sizes labels like this would be easier to use IMO if they have that.......

Re: waterproof labels for stone...
I saw mine today when I went to the shop. To peel the backer off, bend a corner back and it will separate a very little Bit. Peel the back off. It is more of a static sticker than an adhesive, IMO. I think the best way is to cut it into strips and use them as needed. The marker needs a few seconds to dry, so it doesn't smudge. So far, I lie it.

Re: waterproof labels for stone...

Its not just the fingers..............the eyes are not so good anymore either.

bending does help to get them separated. (what she said).
Could be very useful, if my patience allows

So many directions to go with this one. Guilty of being called "short lived" before

Thanks Steve. Your roll is on the way! Hey Guy, try to have some kind of feedback for me before I see you in Las Vegas!

Re: waterproof labels for stone...
Also guys, keep in mind that we also have a linerless roll that could be used with a dispenser. The adhesive is a lot stronger but still no residue left behind. It is also tinted so it will be easier to see. I dont know about using it on marble since marble tends to be more porous, but I am testing it on some to be sure. The benefit of the lined tape is that you can cut it to size and transport easily, but I am pretty sure we will have both types to suit everyones needs. Thanks for the feedback. Keep it coming!

So far, so good. They stick on the stone, even cold stone. The marker is legible. New update in 30 days.
