I heard that Mobile AL is dropping a 600 lbs moon pie at midnight.

It is very cool. The moon pie hangs there all year and drops just like the ball in times square.

They also have a 500 pound edible moon pie that they cut up and serve.. Not sure on the taste but it looked cool.

The moon pie has brought a good bit of tourism in... most Mobilians though/think it is silly, but I think it benefits our city tremendously!
