having lots of fun,
I have used 2 flow and a regular bridge for the last 15 years but this cuts the same in half the time as the 3 machines together

That does much of the same as most of the other CNC saws on the market. You should take a look at GMM, Brembana, Thibaut, Noat, Denver, Omag. They all have a saw(s) that does the same, if not more, as the one you posted. Many have been bought by other members and are discussed in depth in the members area.

yes I know, but only Breton was willing to make one that fits in my shop, it was all re-engineered to fit the space i have, none of the others were willing to do that

Im not sure about a lot of them but my Denver Skema HT had a tall order to fill and it has , including fitting in a tight space... There are some awesome threads on my new CNC saw, plus several others in the members area.

Re: Kool saw from Breton
Why did you spray off the slab before the vacuum move. I think you can have it wash the slab automatically before the move.

Re: Kool saw from Breton
Ara,
Thanks for the review.
Josh,
Certainly we are not the only astute builder of CNC Bridgesaws.
Question: Of those builders you mentioned, which of them have been consistent supporters of the SFA?
Of the remaining, which have a presence, and sales manager so willing to be a real partner to his customers?
Narrows the stream a little.
There are also bridgesaws that run fast with names and symbols you can't read, they are everywhere.
But...Only certain companies can live up to the standards of our Great customer Ara and so for that...we are so thankful to Ara and his crew.
By the way, you may not know him because he is busy and quiet, but he also does crazy beautiful 5 axis work and he should post some pics. He's a genious and very discriminating machine buyer.

Re: Kool saw from Breton
If you dont mind my asking, what were the size restrictions you were running into. Was it length and width or overall height? For us, Height is our issue.ara67 wrote:yes I know, but only Breton was willing to make one that fits in my shop, it was all re-engineered to fit the space i have, none of the others were willing to do that
What are you using as the cutting surface? Looks like possibly an overlay on top of the wood.
Congrats on the new gear!

Re: Kool saw from Breton
Dave,
Generally the height is the least of an issue because that can be adjusted by height of the shoulders. (Or the table can be installed slightly below floor level etc)
For Ara's machine we made the shoulder to shoulder dimension a little tighter.
