Has anyone chiseled Quartzite material. Such as Sea Pearl

You may be better off cutting the edge and then using pneumatic chisels to rough it up.

I have been successful w/ the pit bull on Taj Mahal it took everything it had but got it done and lookedone fantastic

Its really going to depend on which quartzite and how you are chiseling it. We use the beaver from GQ and it won't do super hard quartzites. The pitbull is a lot stronger and sounds better for this application.

We also have a Trow& Holden pneumatic chisel we use on really tough stuff. We had to use that on some 2cm double laminated Bronzo. This particular Bronzo was harder than any we have seen since, it worked though.
We've had the other chisels but nothing comes close to the Big dog or bull dog or whatever Sam calls his newer chisel.
