incremental Router Bit tearing up tool holder

Just had our Park Industries Saber installed last week. The terminator bits for the incremental router holder that came with machine had poor reviews so we ordered different bits from Helix in advance. While running some scrap with the Park Installer last week, we were using the incremental router on an oval vanity bowl. We were running the bit slow somewhere around 6ipm. The terminator bit actually fell out of the tool holder. We stopped the cycle lifted the spindle up and found the threads were gone on both the tool holder and the bit. So Park overnighted a second tool holder and we put in the bit we had gotten from Helix. The bit ran amazingly better. We finished our test pieces and eventually moved on to production tops. Long story short, we were just about done routing for the day when the Helix bit came out oh the holder as well. Same thing, lifted up the spindle and the threads in the holder and on the bit itself were toast. Routing sinks and inside corners is new to me. I have never ran a fingerbit or incremental before last week. Am I doing something wrong? Running the bit too hard? Should there be some dressing procedure on these? We were running the Helix bit about 14-16ipm when the threads gave, however there was no noise or indication that we were running it too hard or anything. It was cutting like butter. Matter of fact I felt like it could have been running faster imo, but like I said I have never used these bits before. Any input or advice would be helpful. Tool holders and bits could definitely get expensive if I keep going through them every other slab!

Left handed thread....spindle runs clockwise. Got some loctite today. New tools holder is in tomorrow so I'll give another go.

How much are you taking per pass? We milled sinks every day for 2 years, and never had this happen.

had this happen on our titan the first two months we had it, our problem was the fluctuation of water pressure, hit a hard spot in the stone and spun it out. Make sure your water pressure is good, check your tool rpm settings and watch that amp load. I know it helps on the titan and not sure if the saber is the same, but make sure you're milling in the right direction as well.

I meant to respond to this yesterday. While I don't think the tool should shear off itself, 1/8" per pass on a replaceable tip incremental is way too much material per pass. We used to take .04" per pass at 50-70ipm depending on material in a spiral step, so its always moving in Z. I would take way less material at a much higher feed rate. Also spin the tool around 4500rpm
