Tobias
You are the EXACT right person to be giving this advice. You caught the wrath when you first came on also.

Come on pimpin' your wares and you will get hammered. Come on offering your knowledge and the wares will follow.
Thanks for moderating this thread for us.

Re: To Derek and Colombo
thanks Guy,
this was our idea. Our web site is full of information to help fabricators to get the maximum from their machinaries, sometimes filling gaps left during the training by the dealers.
At the same time I think that to be aware that there is an alternative to the official manufacturer is a benefit for the final user.
We might have posted "too much" in a short time, so we will take a little break, but we want to keep offering our experience.
I've been working for 14 years in the CNC stone business, 13 spent developing and selling tools with Diamut (sold by Salem - so by Mr.Bergman). Every customer that met me so far, knows that selling is never my first approc.
To be honest I don't understand the reason of this thread starded with "basta!" that means "STOP!"... I would really cancel it.
Great weekend to all of you!

For the record, I am not an expert in Italian, but my interpretation of basta has always been -- enough, or as they say on the lower east side of New York City, enough already. I do not know the gentlemen from Colombo, but Derek and I have sent some PM's back and forth in which I have tried to explain the protocol of this site. They both represent fine companies, and I am sure that they will become valued contributors.

The sauna sounded better.
It's not that expensive to be a sponsor, so just pony up and talk about whatever ya want, the insults are free.
