This was a big project for us. First pic is of the middle bowl being water tested.

The next is the sink all oiled up after we were done making it at the shop.

At the home all installed. Notice that the edges are what we call our wear edge. . . we wear the edge to make it look like it's been in the home for generations. . .

Another pic of the kitchen. The island is made of 2 slabs, one seam. Most of you know soapstone slabs are pretty small, so this is exciting for me!

Another part of the home called for a access panel in one of our tops. . . no water jet, and these 2 pieces are not the same. I was able to find a vein that . . . well fit just about perfect. this pic is of the stone unoiled, but you should be able to see how it matches. . really proud of this one!

The next is my 2nd bow front sink. I finally sold my first one and people are starting to ask for the bow front sink again. I'm still not sure if it's worth it to make, but I sure have alot of fun making them. Notice the before oiled and after. The seams are matched to the oiled stone, but I think they turned out sweet.

I know the softer varieties of soapsotne are quite different from what most of you work with, but the details I'm able to achieve I"m proud of. . . .
