2 or 4 suction lifter
Wondering if a 2 pad lifter will be adequate for lifting on and off cnc. Will it lift an L - PIECE say 110 x65 x 25 deep or is a 4 pad needed instead. If anyone is using a 2 pad would like to hear from you. Want to make sure i purchase the correct lifter. Thanks

Re: 2 or 4 suction lifter
I wouldn't use a two. 4 or more.
Use sink saver bars on sink pieces.

Re: 2 or 4 suction lifter
I agree with Chris, there are definitely more times you will need 4 pads more than 2.

Re: 2 or 4 suction lifter
I got a woods 10 cup and an 8 cup. Both are great. BUT. I would get a manzeli 4 cup if I had a choice now. Their adjustable and a lot better for pulling l,s like your talking about.
Or use a Omni cube sink saver on the short side of the L to stabalize it.
You would regret a 2 cup IMO

Re: 2 or 4 suction lifter

That is cool Chris. Thanks for mentioning that. I have spoke with many fabricators that use our Sink Hole Saver to help lift off of CNC's and every one says it works great especially of very fragile pieces.ash20ash wrote:... Or use a Omni cube sink saver on the short side of the L to stabalize it.
Re: 2 or 4 suction lifter
sink hole savers by omni are the greatest. In my shop no sink peice moves off the cnc without it. Just need to break 1 peice and the cost of the saver pays for itself. I learned this the hard way.

If cost is the concern (for the 2 or 4 pad version) call your GQ rep. Gq now has an Exential line from Manzelli.
