Guys & Gals,

We will be executing a waterfall end/free standing conference table, along with a full slab shower in my newly renovated showroom. All table and shower components will be mitred, glued, sanded, and installed in real time.

We will also discuss and practice polishing quartz edges, Mainly flat polish with various polishing pads and methods.

There will also be lots of marble edge and surface polishing going on throughout the days.


On Thursday my staff will be cooking a variety of fresh gulf coast seafood, fried, grilled, boiled... Makes my mouth water thinking about it!

Thursday night we may have some airboat rides in the swamp planned.
The nightlife is easy to get to and always packed. Especially Friday nights!

Just registered.

Since you're working with some quartz, I could bring the Regent Quartz Renew kit to demonstrate ES face polishing (to match factory finish). I have a jobsite to visit on my way down (likely on Wednesday).

I forgot to list our equipment.... We are mainly a manual shop:
We have a Marmo bridge saw, a sawing systems radial arm machine, a Marmo 711 flat polish machine, air lifter & crane, manual routers.

For the workshop, all mitre work will be cut on the bridge saw and glued using various methods. We will be demoing a few different style of mitre clamp tools.. I will update you all on which types of mitre clamps as soon as I find out from the Vendors.


So,
If any of you need to learn about mitres, surface polishing, or quartz edge polishing then make your way down to South Alabama and we will get you fixed up! If you cant make but need to have some of your guys trained... send them down and I will make sure they know how to achieve these things before they leave. We can couple your guys with my guys to have hands on training!

Make time to come down and participate in the learning! Get registered!

For those that are Flying in, post your arrival times on this thread so I can see what we can do to get you picked up.

Mobile doesn't have a great taxi infrastructure so we may have something set up to move you all around.

Even if you are driving in, go ahead and post you arrival times to help with coordination.

It looks like our weather will be between 60 and 68 during the day, and around 35 to 40 in the evenings..... which is cold to us, but most of you may feel like its summer I don't believe it is going to be wet, but Mobile weather is very unpredictable!
