Re: Shop Manager / Right Hand To Owner
Lazarus,
I am curious as to why you copied and pasted my resume for your Shop Manager Position. I would appreciate it if you would use your own wording to find the help you need. It took me over 20 years of blood, sweat and tears to build my resume and take offense to others that attempt to use it for their own gain.
Again I ask that you please change your Classified and Water Cooler Posts regarding this matter.
Thank you
Shawn Pubal

Re: Shop Manager / Right Hand To Owner
Shawn,
I never used your resume at all. I just posted experiences I was looking for in a potential candidate. I could understand if I used your words for a resume to find a job. I thought you sounded the best out of all the ones I had seen and thought to hope to find someone like you or close, so I wanted to see if it would help. I did not use them for gain in fact like I said it was just some of your bullet point and experiences as well as others I added. I am sorry if you took offenes never thought it was a big deal seeing I switched it a bit around to fit my needs in a job post.

Re: Shop Manager / Right Hand To Owner
Joe,
Accusing someone of Plagiarism is even more serious then someone taking bullet points from a post key word post and asking others if they posses those experiences. I did not know that postings on this site where copyrighted on this site and share others peoples experiences as ones you are looking for was Plagiarism. You are acussing me of stealing something and making it my idea or work. whether it was a post of a resume or not I never made it mine or said it was. I am sure many people here have posted the same experiences Shawn has or similar to his or vice versa and as a director of this site it is very wrong to accuse me or anyone of Plagiarism, because now you are putting your site at risk of a lawsuit because of your wrongful word and actions. I would appreciate you removing that statement because it is not true in anyway shape or form.
If you feel a need to contact please do so about this matter.

Re: Shop Manager / Right Hand To Owner
Not a good way to build relationships....
Threatening to sue? Really? What are your damages?
You said you never used anything, then admit that you used parts of his resume. How can both, diametrically opposed ideas, both be true?
Sharing means taking and giving. One year with 9 posts, all asking for something can hardly be considered sharing. I have read all 9 of your posts, I do not think I missed anything, did I?

Lets save this one. Stay with me until the end.GranitePlusMKE wrote:I never used your resume at all.
Whose experiences?GranitePlusMKE wrote:I just posted experiences I was looking for in a potential candidate.
Oh that's right, Shawn's experiences, written by him. You changed a few words here and there to make it from an owner's perspective seeking a person, not Shawn's perspective seeking a job.GranitePlusMKE wrote:I could understand if I used your words for a resume to find a job. You tried to use them for gain, it just didn't work.GranitePlusMKE wrote:I did not use them for gain in fact like I said it was just some of your bullet point and experiences as well as others I added.
Let me see if I understand you correctly, you took his bullet points and "switched it a bit" to "fit my needs". Am I correct?GranitePlusMKE wrote:I am sorry if you took offenes never thought it was a big deal seeing I switched it a bit around to fit my needs in a job post.
So basically you took Shawn's bullet points and, by your own admission, "switched it a bit" to fit your needs to try and hire someone and you get upset that I accuse you of plagiarism? Maybe plagiarism wasn't the best word. No one said the posts here are copyrighted so how about we say that you are too unoriginal to come up with your own thoughts and words and stole the majority of someone else's to try and hire someone.GranitePlusMKE wrote:Joe,

It sounds to me like you're upset Shawn saw it and you got busted. But that's right, at the top you said you never used his resume.
You are more than welcome to edit your post to remove my note, but I will not. I think the subsequent posts show what kind of person you really are.
Best of luck trying to hire someone to fill that role.
I'm sorry I didn't answer my phone at 10:21pm when you called me last night. Thank you for waking up my wife by the way.GranitePlusMKE wrote:If you feel a need to contact please do so about this matter.

Sounds to me like someone's looking for a job... And someone else is looking to hire someone with similar traits and experiences that the job seaker posses...
Why the heck are we discussing who said what first, and why are they not discussing how they can get together and fill each other's needs ?

I had hoped that this topic was dead. Everything that needed to be said was said.
As for Mr. Faust
In my opinion he was not ruthless at all. I believe he moderated the posts accordingly.Jonathan wrote:Damn, Joe! you are ruthless!
As for Mr. Faust
Bob its obvious you did not read the whole thread. I believe you are upset that I did not respond to your multiple emails sent to my personal account asking me to work for you. I have worked with you in the past. I did what I had to do at the time because my options were limited. Your ethics sicken me. I would also like to add that still to this day owe me a considerable amount of money. I will not waste precious oxygen bantering over this with you.dbiel wrote:Sounds to me like someone's looking for a job...
