Exciting baseball the past few weeks. Given the extra wildcard team and single game playoffs, pretty interesting to watch many teams in the hunt. Jim (Go Tribe)

I believe the St Louis Cardinals won their last World Series the year they played into the wild card game.

I like it, its extra baseball! Even though I back a winning team that prefers to enter the playoffs via winning the division, I think it is cool.

I think you will find a pretty successful post season record for St Louis (11 world series titles). Second best overall and first best with home grown talent (as opposed to the NNY wallet's teams).

FYI: the Sox could have had a worst year, just look North in Chicago!!
