Dekton cutting stove holes

[Stone Hustler]

I have a show room island with 4 stove cut outs, in a Dekton slab island.

1-What blades has anyone had good luck with?
2-Are you guys cutting at shop or on site with a spray bottle?
3-Same goes with undermount sink holes?

Are you a certified Dekton fabricator? If so, this information should have been covered in your basic product training.

NO HAND CUTTING! It's dangerous for the product and the worker.

Water jet is preferred (my understanding is that most certified fabricators already have this capability).
Dekton has recommended saw blades, and most major tool suppliers have one that has been tested and/or certified by Cosentino.
Same for sink cutouts.

Hey Steve, We have the product listed here that is certified for Dekton dry cutting. The difference is in the way (pattern) you have to cut. If I remember right it was in a diagonal cut out with the corners already drilled out. But none the less it should be in the DEKTON manual and however Neolith is requiring it also.

Alpha makes the tools for Dekton and they have their Katana blade listed for hand cutting.
The Alpha Silencer III, a number of our customers have bought for bridge saw as well.

Ok fabrication brothers. Here is my DEKTON information, about cutting stove holes or, undermount sink holes.

WE GOT IT DONE BY HAND, AND YES IT CAN BE DONE PERFECTLY BY HAND, GOOD OLD FASHION AMERICAN CUSTOM FABRICATION!!!!!!!

1 STOVE HOLES WERE MARKED
2 CONTINUES RIM HOLE BIT. CUT ALL 4 CORNERS FIRST WITH WATER
3 WATER FED SKILL SAW, FIRST PASS HALF WAY, ALL FOUR SIDES, SECOND PASS FINISH THE CUT ALL FOUR SIDE.
4 WATER POLISH TO A BEAUTIFUL SHINE A WA LA!!!!!

SOME OF YOU MIGHT HAVE PASSED THIS PROBLEM OR SOLUTION BUT FOR THOSE THAT HAVENT, JUST MY 2 CENTS!!!!
