I think Iowa should be Bama's opening game next year. We rarely schedule a known cupcake for the first game, plus it would be good for the Iowa players to understand what it is like to play in front of more people than a typical southern high school football game... just sayin'

One would think that about attendance. 1980, my fresh, 19 straight previous losing seasons, and still a waiting list for season tickets. The SEC has nothing on Iowa tailgating.

The Big Ten had a less than stellar bowl season.
Probably worn out & beat up from playing in the toughest football conference all season.

Alabama & Clermson are the 2 best teams, Ohio State is clearly up there, too.
