Oh, I wish my place of employ were so organized so as to have something as detailed as a contract. All they've got is a basic invoice that says "a 60% deposit is required, the balance is due at completion or a 5% service charge will be added. There will be an additional charge for floor prep & furniture moving. We do not remove or reset toilets. Due to the nature of natural stone, marble & granite, samples that we provide are representative only and cannot be binding. Variations in color & markings may occur. In some cases, reinforcement &/or filling may be required."Mtodd62406 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2017 4:29 pm
Yes that instance still seems like overkill. NO WAY I would've relocated the laser for that, set up in between the island and the sink and set targets on the counter/wall cap and just shoot those points. Aren't the homeowners taking an assumed risk by not having the wall prepared/cut down to one level before you get there? By risk I mean in the contract it says "overhangs might vary by 1/8" if old tops aren't removed first" or something along those lines.

That's it.
