Being a commercial fabricator, we don't get a ton of cool material coming through here. It is mostly white ES and fragile marble. We have 4 slabs of Blue Agate Caesarstone right now. We are making 2 islands with waterfall legs and a 2" mitered apron. After 4 tests with different blades (all from Terminator) we found the best was a Terminator Nano DK3-S2. We ran it at about 600mm/min (24ipm in freedom units) and 1750RPM. It took about 6 hours to cut two slabs. We step cut it in 10mm steps. Eric said we could cut it in one pass, but after my tests I figured if it ain't broke, why fix it.

We stopped it every 3 or 4 cuts to dress the blade and re-probe the diameter. The blade started out at 416mm in diameter and finished at 412.5mm after the two slabs.

The cuts are very sharp and as chip free as you could expect.

I'll try to get more pics and I especially want some when it's installed.
