I've noticed recently that I have been losing connection to the laser while shooting a template. When I first fire up the Surface and connect the laser everything is great. But today I was half way through shooting and ... well it was kind of like it just froze up. About 15-20 seconds later it beeped and everything worked again. I have been assuming this is a windows 10 thing but I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and if they know of a fix.

There are some Windows issues that could affect timing. I am not currently aware of any at the moment that are persisting. A big thing is to check if your tablet has any pending Windows Updates. If they were installing while templating, that could cause issues as they cause a big hit to the CPU performance.
I would also suggest calling our support department when you have issues. We are staffed from 7 am - 6 pm central time specifically for this purpose.
