air/water hose reel
I am looking for a air/water hose reel to purchase. I have seen a few of these at different shops but I am not sure who makes them and have not found anyone who sells them. Could someone point me in the right direction. TIA

Re: air/water hose reel
We use two separate reels. One for water and one for air. Then we put 2 different types of fittings on (red)(Blue) so the guys don't mix them up.

Re: air/water hose reel
I set up my old shop with them many years ago. I can't remember if eBay or Amazon was cheaper:
https://www.amazon.com/Oxygen-Acetylene ... B000LQH5CY
Just cut off the welding fittings and install with normal 1/4" hose barb ends.
They are OK to run polishers with the 1/4" hose (both sides), but if you have larger air tools you should have dedicated 3/8" or 1/2" lines for those.

Re: air/water hose reel
I may be wrong. But... I believe the acetylene hose has a reverse thread. What are people doing to get past this road block? I hate hose clamps. Would prefer not to use them. Any advice on fittings? I love the idea of the retractable hose reel with both air and water.

I cut off the ends and crimp with the appropriate barbs...line, fitting, strait to polisher.

Re: air/water hose reel
We cut off the ends and use barb fittings, then we use 1/8" quick disconnect fittings to connect the hoses to the polishers. That way the finishers can quickly disconnect the air line from the polisher to blow off their tops they are working on.
