Novelty giveaways items

It's time again for the annual fundraiser put on by the Chamber of Commerce.
We always donate some things to the silent auction. In the past it has been something like cutting boards or 18" round lazy susans for centerpieces on ball bearing casters.

I was wanting to do something different in shape or whatever and thought I'd see if you guys might share anything cool that people liked.

We have been making cribbage boards for the auctions. It is actually amazing how many people go crazy for them. Use a 5mm blind hole bit on the cnc to punch the holes and then cut to size and polish the edges. We usually make 4 at once so the cnc can hold the pieces better then we cut them apart.

I saw sink cut outs being used at a hotel recently. There were 4 stands at the bottom then a simple glass oval frame at the top. They then put like Yogurt in a bowl of ice and bowls of fruit on them.

I like the cribbage boards.

Now, if you could come up with a granite deck of cards to be able to play cribbage outside, you will really have something!!

Joe, i think its a grand idea, but not sure how id run them real easy without a jet.

Matt I think you told me about cribbage boards before but I have no idea what that is.

I have done a lot of carved fish over the years, everybody likes them and are willing to pay. The last one I did was a marlin head that a customer of mine absolutely had to have with his kitchen, $400 cash

We have done cutting boards shaped like a pig, very popular around farm country.

We made clocks a long time ago. We just used scrap granite and went out and bought the clock faces with the backs. We glued two pieces of granite together one for the base and one for the face. Antonio would be able to explain better.

I like the crib board idea.

College football stuff is always popular !!!!! But you better hurry if your doing the Logo, Sooner;s already dropped to # 2 and as soon as Alabama beats the hell outta Florida this weekend, you knnow what's gonna happen

Cutting boards are always cool, we made a Ubatuba shaped like a "Jalapeno" ,cutting board that really looks slick

The Jalapeno sounds cool.

The pig sounds cool which I found a pic of out of corian.

We have done the clocks, been a while.

Here is a picture of the cribbage boards that we make. They are only 30 hole boards so you have to go up and back 4 times for a complete game.

I'll send the AlphaCam file or dxf to whoever wants to save a little time if you let me know.
We ended up like 29 or so, to allow us to use cktp cutouts.

Think it was like 50 minute run time including fingerbitting holes that we left 1/8 of material so we could get pods under it.

its one of the many good things about having a water jet, we also do "k-9 kitchens". lately,since we are so close to october, we've been cutting out pumpkins. we do the state of nh and whatever else is seasonable.
